Frequently asked questions
How accurate is the transcription?
Clean recordings of one or a few instruments give the best results. You can play the transcription against the original audio before you download, and switch to a simpler difficulty when you want something easier to read.
Which instruments are supported?
Guitar, piano, bass, vocals and drums, on every plan, Free included. Full band puts every instrument in a full mix onto its own part.
Can I convert a full mix or only solo instruments?
Both. Pick the instrument you want to hear from a full mix, or choose Full band to get every instrument as its own part. Solo, clean recordings are the most accurate.
Which DAWs can open the MIDI files?
Any DAW that reads standard MIDI files, including Ableton Live, FL Studio, Logic Pro, GarageBand, Cubase and Pro Tools. On Premium, MusicXML opens in MuseScore, Sibelius and Dorico, and Guitar Pro files in Guitar Pro.
How do credits and top-ups work?
1 credit = 1 minute of audio you transcribe, rounded up. Free gives you 30 credits every calendar month. Premium gives 500 a month, and unused credits roll over up to 1,500. Premium members can also buy top-up credits that never expire; they are used after the monthly credits.
Are my uploads private?
Yes. Only you can see your songs. Your uploads are private, and when you delete a song its audio is deleted too.
Do I need to pay to try it?
No. The Free plan gives you 30 credits every month, with no card needed.
